Freedom from greed

At once I thought back to Martin Luther’s day. And how the poor were giving their wages to the Catholic church because they believed that they’re giving would keep them or there loved ones out of hell. The church at that time had one of the most terrible money machines created and this was before credit cards. To some extent, credit card companies haven’t told you that your very soul was on the line if you don’t have a credit history.

There is victory and freedom here in this dark catacomb. The church can rise again from this place, but we must go back and face our fear. Own up to the fact that we have abused our money and privilege and placed a heavy burden on those who did not know God. We cannot earn our way to heaven. Because another way has already been made. Imagine paying for something your entire life, that you find out at the last minute was totally free. That you did not have to pay anything. Love is that way. Can’t you tell sometime when a friend or a family member is trying to earn your love or respect. Don’t you want to just put them at ease and tell them to stop earning it, because you would just give it for free. It’s the same way with God. I feel like he is just shouting from the rooftops, “STOP EARNING MY LOVE and just be loved by me.”

The sad part is this system still exists even with the buy the anointing programming in the pentecostal church. I know sometimes they are looking for a point of exchange but God never said he would charge for it. He loves people why would he make them pay for it.
